About
SPPS (Statistical Packages for Pharmaceutical Sciences) is a collection of free, open-source computational tools for pharmaceutical technology: dissolution kinetics, f1/f2 profile comparison, pseudo-ternary phase diagrams, dose–response analysis and basic statistics.
The tools were written by Mehmet Ali Ege, PhD, lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ege University (İzmir, Türkiye). Most of them descend from desktop programs used in the department since 1995; the pseudo-ternary phase-diagram tool dates from 2001.
The source code is published on GitHub under the MIT licence, and the kinetics engine is validated against DDSolver 1.0 outputs. If you use the tools in a publication, please cite them as described in the repository's CITATION file.
SPPS is the pharmaceutical-technology edition of maege.tr, which also hosts the author's amateur-radio, astronomy and botany applications.
